Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University

The college offers four Year B.Tech regular programmes in the disciplines of Civil Engineering (CE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), The admission to these courses is based on Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). The college further offers four-year B.Tech part-time programs in CE, ECE, EEE and ME. The admission is based on Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET).

The college offers M.Tech courses in the following specialization's:

Civil Engineering : Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering,

Structural Systems and Design
Mechanical Engineering : Machine Design

CAD/CAM
Electrical Engineering : Electrical Power systems (High Voltage),

Advanced Power Systems
Electronics & Communications Engineering : Instrumentation and Controls,

Computer & Communications
Computer Science & Engineering : Computer Science

The intake for these courses is on the basis of GATE Examination for non-sponsored and entrance test conducted by the University for sponsored and self-supporting candidates.

The College offers self-supporting P.G. course in MCA. The admission is based on Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET). For in service teachers, Sequential Summer School (SSS) Post Graduate programme in M.Tech in all Engineering disciplines was introduced. The admission for M.Tech (SSS) is based on an entrance test conducted by the University. For the diploma holders Contact-cum-Correspondence Course (CCC) in B.Tech is also offered in all the branches.

The College also offers Ph.D. programme both full time & part time basis and selection done by the University. Hitherto, Ph.D. programmes were supported by organizations like UGC, AICTE, CSIR, DST, etc. Coming academic year 2006-2007 the University is going to provide financial assistance to full time Ph.D. scholars by way of fellowships and contingency grant.
