Department of Physical Education
For students academics are important but sports and games add to the over all personality. The department of Physical Education offers all the facilities and infrastructure to keep the students fit and inculcate sportive spirit. Dr.K.Ramu, Associate Professor of Civil Engineering is the Sports Coordinator assisted by Sri.G.Sam kumar, who is the Physical Director.
The students have been representing the college on various occasions like Inter-Collegiate, Inter-University, National level, etc and exhibiting their skill. Till date there are many active sportsmen and sportswomen who have brought laurels to this prestigious college at various sports meets and continue to do.

To mention a few facilities which the students have been regularly using are a well equipped gymnasium, a special table tennis room, red soiled turf cricket pitch, indoor shuttle badminton court, ball badminton court well maintained volley-ball court. Both boys and girls hostels are again well furnished with volleyball and tennikoit courts respectively.

* Ms.Lakshmi Sirisha (IV B.Tech, ME) & Ms.Lalithanjani (IV B.Tech, ME) of our college stood runners in the Shuttle badminton (Girls-Doubles) in the recently conducted Inter-Collegiate Zone-D sports meet conducted at VR Siddartha Engineering College, Vijayawada on 27th-28th January,2006.
