* NCRASE, National Conference on Recent Advances in Structural Engineering with financial assistance from TEQIP (Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme) will be organized by the Department of Civil Engineering on February 11th - 12th ,2006 as a part of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations (2005-2006). The Organizing Secretary of this conference is Dr.V.Ravindra, Associate Professor. The conference subthemes are:

Ø Earthquake-Resistant Design

Ø Restoration and Rehabilitation

Ø Structural Health Monitoring

Ø Admixtures and Additives

Ø High Performance Concretes

* RTPS – ’06, A two day National workshop on “Real Time Power Systems” with financial assistance from TEQIP (Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme) will be organized by the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering on February 27th - 28th ,2006 as a part of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations (2005-2006). The Coordinators of this workshop are Mr. V.V.N. Murthy, Associate Professor and Mr.Ch.V.V.S.Bhaskara Reddy, Assistant Professor.

* ZEITGEIST, A National Level Student Technical Symposium will be conducted by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering on 3rd-4th March, 2006.

* Sports meet (SMAK) & Cultural Meet (MAHATI), intercollegiate events will be organized by the college on March 4th - 5th ,2006.

* Concepts, A National Conference on Corrective Engineering Practices in Troublesome soils hosted by the Department of Civil Engineering and organized by Indian Geotechnical Society, Kakinada Chapter on July 8th - 9th ,2006. The Organizing Secretary of this conference is Dr.G.V.R.Prasada Raju, Associate Professor.

* Diamond Jubilee Celebrations...Valedictory function ON july 15th & 16th,2006. The grand closing function of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of JNTU College of Engineering is scheduled on July 15th & 16th, 2006.
